Incoming Chapter Presidents’ Training: Tuesday June 18, 7–8 PM
Wednesday June 19, 8 AM–3:30 PM
Additionally, during the convention, there will be two Break Out sessions for Incoming Presidents.

Members’ Leadership Seminar: Wednesday June 19, 8–3:30 PM
Anne Clifford, our International Speaker and Cyndy Moore, International Representative will conduct the Members’ Leadership Seminar on Wednesday morning.
Anne’s presentation from 8:45-10 AM will guide participants to consider how “Reflective Leadership” can boost our confidence and effectiveness as leaders. Topics covered will include: enhancing self-awareness through our values, fostering meaningful relationships, and embracing flexibility.
Cyndy’s 10:15-11:30 AM session title is “Traveling on Avenue M”. DKG International commissioned a marketing company to survey members and determine recommendations for action to help our states and chapters flourish as organization. Cyndy is on the DKG Administrative Board in charge of implementing these recommendations. You will hear first-hand how our chapters and state organization can use this data to continue the conversation on how to plan for DKG’s future.
After lunch, Amy Dobbins, state corresponding secretary, Susan Blazosky, and Royce Boyd will delve into the DKG-PA state theme of Community Building during the session titled: ‘From Vision to Action: Hands-On Projects with a Purpose”.
The presenters will share insights on how to gain perspective on fostering communities at both the state and chapter levels.
Participants will have the unique opportunity to translate ideas into tangible actions through multiple hands-on projects. These projects are specifically crafted to benefit community organizations both at a national, state, and local levels. Together we can turn Community Building from vision to action, one community at a time!
This is a wonderful opportunity for Incoming Chapter Presidents to gather their leadership team and other key members of the chapter to gain information and ideas, as well as inspiration and support to lead your chapter for the next biennium. Don’t miss this chance to network with key women educators throughout Pennsylvania!
