Anne Clifford will be our International Speaker at both the Leadership Seminar on Wednesday, June 18th and during our convention on June 19 th . She lives in Sherwood Park, Alberta CA and has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. A registered psychologist, Anne presently works as a school counselor and mental health
educator at NorQuest College in Edmonton, Alberta, CA. She is also an entrepreneur with a private psychology practice offering Counselling services and wellness education to individuals and groups across the province of Alberta.
Her speaking experiences include presentations on Health and Wellness to community groups and organizations, workshops for Mental Health Programs, and education seminars for post-secondary students at NorQuest College. During our Wednesday Leadership Seminar Anne will focus on “Reflective Leadership.” On Thursday during convention, participants will see Anne discuss “Understanding the Heart and Mind of Gen Z: Leading the Next Generation of Future Leaders” and “Leaders Who Inspire Change: How to Have Conversations that Matter.”
Anne has a passion for leadership and enjoys dedicating her tie to supervising and mentoring students as well as new psychologists.
Cynthia Moore resides in Kimberly, British Columbia, CA. She has been married for 41 years, and has two daughters, two sons, and four grandchildren. Cynthia graduated from the University of Regina with a B.S. in Education – Arts Education. Her Master’s Degree is in Educational Administration – Transformational Leadership. She has extensive experience for more than 25 years as an educator at all levels – primary, middle, secondary, and post-secondary. As a DKG member, she has served as chapter secretary, membership chair, program committee member, state organization treasurer, president, parliamentarian, and finance committee and
conference planning committee chairs. She attended the DKG Leadership Management Seminar at University of Texas – Austin (McCombs School of Business) in 2012. Currently, she serves as International Member-at-Large 2020-2024, was on the International Speakers Fund Committee (chair), the Leadership Discovery Centre Ad-Hoc Committee (chair), and Strategic Plan Committee.
During our Wednesday Leadership Seminar Cynthia will focus on the Avenue M recommendations for DKG Society growth and implications for both chapter and state organizations. On Thursday during convention participants will hear Cynthia present an International Update, and she will also host a Roundtable discussion for members during a Break Out session.
